This huipil has been made in soft cotton from Germany prevalent in huipiles from Patzun and Patzicia
Hand woven in two panels on a backstrap loom (side seems are open)
Traditional deep red (burgundy) base cloth, thin stripes of the lighter color weft threads show through on one side of the huipil, unusual hand embroidered floral collar and shoulders incorporating small clear and black glass beads.
Measures: 39" wide x 22" long (44" long if opened fully)
